Soon on the heels of Namaste India, Anu created another multiple award winning travel show, which showcased the most exciting holiday destinations in an anchor driven experiential format.
Its episodes included trekking in Ladakh, scuba diving in Lakshadweep, tea tasting in Munnar (Kerala), tiger-spotting on elephant-back in Kanha (MP), camel safari in Jaisalmer (Rajasthan), as well as some choice International destinations: South Africa, Kenya, Maldives and Sri Lanka. The series also presented “exotic journeys” through several lesser-known destinations around the country like driving from Kashmir to Leh, Ladakh and beyond; biking through rural Gujarat; motor bike safari in Lahaul/Spiti (Himachal Pradesh), et.al.
With its stunning visuals, captivating reality type formal, compelling music and editing, Indian Holiday is a classic that was re-run on the Sony Channel for over 10 years in India and internationally and set technical and creative trends that have been aped over the years. Anu anchored this series and also presented 6 episodes.
Indian holiday also launched star anchors like Sanjay Suri, Mini Mathur and Gaurav Kapoor.
